June 10, 2013: Georgetown University in Qatar, in collaboration with the Qatar National Library hosted international activist and author Manal Omar for an enthralling lecture and book reading on June 10 in Doha, Qatar. The public event featured her memoir, Barefoot in Baghdad, a riveting story of hope and despair where the unsung freedom fighters are strong, vibrant and female.
